What is Gnathos, and who is it for?
Gnathos is a full cloud practice management system for dental offices: scheduling, charting, records, insurance and claims, payments, patient communication and reporting in one place. On top of running the practice, it finds the revenue already sitting in it and helps bring it back. Built for independent practices and growing groups.
Is my practice and patient data secure?
Yes. HIPAA compliant from day one, AES-256 encryption in transit and at rest, every clinic isolated at the database layer, an audit log on every record access, role-based access, and a signed BAA available on every plan.
Do I have to switch right away?
No. Gnathos syncs with your current system within minutes and recovery mode runs alongside it. You see your dead-revenue ledger on live data and watch money come back before you decide on the cutover.
Can you look at our numbers before we join?
No. We can't see your records or financials until you join. The demo walks through a sample practice; after you join, recovery mode runs alongside your current system during the move and shows your unscheduled treatment and outstanding balances.
How does pricing work?
A flat monthly subscription on a 12-month initial term, with the per-location prices and provider limits shown on each plan: Essential at $799 and Efficiency at $1,299, 20% off billed yearly. No setup fees, no per-feature charges, no percentage of collections.
What kind of support do you offer?
Every practice gets hands-on onboarding, including migration, plus ongoing support from a team that knows dental. You are not handed a login and left alone.
How does texting consent work?
Messages go out on your practice's own number. Every automated text carries an opt-out line, STOP replies are handled automatically, healthcare messages are kept separate from marketing, marketing goes only to patients who gave written consent, and a frequency cap per patient means nobody gets over-texted. The practice decides when texting starts.
Who owns our data?
Your practice does. Patient records belong to you, not to us. Export everything, anytime, in standard formats. Your data is never held hostage.
What happens if we leave?
You take everything with you: patients, appointments, procedures, plans, claims, ledger, notes, perio, documents. We hand it over in standard formats and help with the transition.
Do we need a new phone system?
No. Gnathos integrates with your existing phone line: an incoming call opens the patient, calls are logged on the profile, and you can click to call. Two-way texting runs on your practice's own number.
Which systems can you migrate from?
The major practice management systems, including Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Curve and CareStack. Every migration is expert-run, with live sync first and a line-by-line reconciliation before go-live.
